The sales associate has not training

The sales associate has not training, my bed was delivered 3 times and the delivery never was completed.. after 6 months
The customer service department terrible.
I will never buy anything for city furniture they are terrible..

If I could give 0 starts to City…

If I could give 0 starts to City Furniture I would. After waiting over a month for my furniture, parts were missing and they did not want to offer me a return they wanted an exchange. I told them I didn't want anything to do with them bc I was missing multiple items. Customer service told me I could only offer you an exchange and I would have to wait a week for them to pick up the bedroom set that was now waiting in my living room. Decided to go to the store on Vineland rd and the manager, after offering me other beds that would not be available for another month..offered me my money back but I would have to pay a restocking fee of 100 dollars like if its my fault that the item had missing parts. STAY AWAY GUYS this has been the worst experience  EVER.
So then final outcome,  I still have no bed. As far as a return I was told no and that I had to stay waiting for the same bed to be replaced. I was treated like I did something wrong. Eventually my husband who has more patience went to the store and convinced the manager to please come pick up the damaged bed that was laying in an open huge box in my living room. I'm still waiting for a bed.This has been by far the worst experience ever. I shopped at city furniture because I thought you guys were the best of the best. However, your customer service supervisors are extremely rude and non sympathetic. I have told all my friends my experience and everyone is dumbfounded as this is unheard of from a furniture store

Be transparent

The reviews and comments of these customers are not an exaggeration. Just be more transparent with your customers. Shouldn’t be much to ask.

Scam Warranty Sales for Profit

I purchased a house full of furniture during 2020 including stain removal warranty (empty stores during the pandemic) from City Furniture.
- In March 2021 my 5 month old puppy urinated on the couch saturating the entire cushion and some surrounding cushions.
- I immediately contacted and filed a warranty claim. Supplying pictures and info.
- I was made to wait 11 days for a technician to come to my home to verify the damage.
- The technician was in my home for less than 5 minutes, took 2 pictures and made no attempts to rectify and stated he would submit the report.
- City Furniture called me 2 hours later to inform me they are not going to honor the warranty.
- Their reasoning was that after we submitted the claim we washed the cushions.
- Apparently at City Furniture it is an acceptable request to expect a customer to leave urine stained, harsh smelling cushions in your home for 11 days waiting on their 3rd party technicians.
- They refused to replace or refund. Unacceptable!

I purchased a $2000 recliner couch and…

I purchased a $2000 recliner couch and it was DAMAGE when delivered. I called to return the couch because they wanted to repair it. I ask for credit and buy something else and they refuse. So, there exchange it for a new one but will not give me credit, so I can buy something else. Doesn't make sense at all if there taking it back to replace it. Also I spent over $7500 total that day and my bed was delivered with missing parts and my mattress was delivered wrong. I ordered a king size and was delivered a queen. Then they tried to deliver my king size mattress with a tear on the side. Terrible customer service on City Furniture, I will recommend to everyone not to purchase anything from them. They want the sale and walk away from customer service. Also for my inconvenience they wanted to give a $100 discount. UNREAL..

DO NOT BUY FROM CITY FURNITURE!!! YOU WILL BE SORRY!! Purchased online bedroom set. Refused to schedule delivery at a time convenient for me. Was on hold for over an hour trying to get ahold of someone. Finally called a random store to talk to someone. They cancelled the delivery, but said I had to call customer service to cancel the order. Called customer service and they said I spoke to a mystery sales person, which I did not, prior to placing my order and that he had to cancel it for me. I never talked to anyone about my order prior to placing it and the only person I talked to after was a person by a different name than what they gave me. Giving me the run around. Just had to dispute it with my credit card instead.

Do not buy from City Furniture

Do not buy from City Furniture, I bought a 3k leather sectional with reading lights and lights never worked. Bought it 8/20 with a five year warranty and I still have technicians coming in to exchange the lights. Warning !!! Ive asked several times to please exchange the individual chair and comsole for another one that has no lights, just so we could end this nightmare and they continue to exchange only the lights that keep burning. So far Ive never used the lights since I bought the sofa, they keep overheating and stop working in the next 2 days.
Do not buy furniture with lights!!!!!

Update #3 now 4 months later and still…

Update #3 now 4 months later and still no dining table. The response I get back from City furniture is due to Covid... Hello we even have a vaccine now for Covid and the manufacturers can’t build or ship tables?! Bottom line I went to Rooms 2 Go took out another line of credit and within 5 days due to my convenience now have my living room fully furnished. Once again I will be returning to the store for a full refund and taking my business and money to Rooms 2 go as they were not surprised in regards to my situation. They say they hear that from lots of customers that due to the inconsistency of deliveries and poor customer service once you’ve made a purchase with City furniture, Rooms 2 go gains additional customers. They sure gained me!!!!!!!! UPDATE*** Almost 3 months later and I still don’t have my dining table... The answer I get is “It’s back ordered” but you go to the showroom and they are still selling the same exact dining room set I purchased on October 30th. I am filing a complaint with BBB. I should of checked the reviews before purchasing anything at this store. My delivery was partial when the day before all pieces were confirmed by a call i received from a customer service rep. The very next day 15 minutes before delivery I receive a call that the dining table is not in stock. The customer service rep was not much help all she kept saying was SORRY. Now 4 calls later with 4 different reps I still can’t get a confirmation as to when I’ll get my dinning table. All I’ve gotten after the partial delivery is SORRY!!!!!!! Sad I’m not the only one with the same issue in receiving incomplete deliveries once they been confirmed the day before. Not buying here again, plenty of furniture stores in Doral and Kendall with better customer service and resolution.

dishonest with delivery

look I'm very disappointed with you guys I bought the furniture with you guys and it was due to be delivered at the end of January, every day they change to a different date, they deliver missing pieces, today they would deliver the table, they called today to say that the part of up is broken on the day of delivery, I think it is disrespectful to the customer not to mention that you call the salesperson who attended you and they do not answer, I had a bad experience with city furniture, I will return all furniture because no delivery forecast they have. horrible aff and I bought the same table in the photo, don't buy it at this store, they don't deliver on the right date and the service is terrible after purchase.

Everything was totally wrong from the…

Everything was totally wrong from the first day that we bought the furniture.It was a horrible experience and I would recommend never buying anything from this company again. Delivery guys were rude and very unresponsive to our requests. We called to complain and never got any help to a finally got to an upper echelon executive and then he finally fixed our problem. Very unacceptable for a company of this structure. I will never shop there again.

Bought a bedroom set and two pieces…

Bought a bedroom set and two pieces were damaged so someone came over to repair. They sprayed the headboard with lacquer paint in my house, which smelled so toxic and left a rough texture. Had to reorder chest of drawers. Eleven months later received it - damaged again - reordered and it was fine but the color didn’t match the rest of the set. Got a call that they do not guarantee color matching.
